Wellbeing Coach
Looking after your mental health deserves the same care and attention as looking after your body, and in my experience, when wellbeing is genuinely built into daily life, everything else has a better chance of holding together too.
With a background as a Mental Health Nurse and a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology I am well placed and qualified to help. I’m also a trained SPARK Resilience Facilitator, which means resilience, not just managing a crisis, but building the capacity to keep going through the ordinary hard parts of life, sits right at the centre of how I work.
What wellbeing coaching covers
To be clear about what wellbeing coaching is: this isn’t counselling or therapy, and I won’t diagnose or treat a mental health condition.
Instead, I offer a structured, supportive space to work on the things that quietly wear people down—the issues that aren’t necessarily a crisis but can stop you from feeling like yourself.
If it becomes clear that therapy or another form of support would serve you better, I’ll always say so and help you find the right route.
I work with people navigating:
- Social anxiety
- Stress management
- Coping with exams
- Loneliness
- Interpersonal relationships
- Balancing different areas of life
- Living with overwhelm
- Building resilience
- Using personal strengths more deliberately
These patterns rarely appear as one single crisis. More often, it’s dreading Monday mornings, quietly avoiding social plans you would normally enjoy, or feeling as though you’re permanently running on empty—even when nothing is technically wrong.
Coaching gives you a regular, protected space to explore these patterns honestly and begin shifting them, one session at a time.
How the wellbeing programme works
After an initial conversation about your situation, we’ll put together a dedicated six-to-eight-week plan. This includes weekly sessions, structured workbooks and exercises, plus access to a supporting app so you have practical tools to lean on between our calls.
Coaching is available one-to-one, and I also offer group wellbeing coaching for teams that want to develop these skills together.
The evidence behind my approach: Positive Psychology
Sustainable wellbeing often comes from building upon what’s good, not simply chipping away at what’s wrong. Positive Psychology is a genuinely evidence-based field—not wellness fluff—and every exercise I bring to our sessions has been researched and validated.
What to expect
I bring a balance of challenge and support to our work together, leading in a way that is honest, non-judgemental and paced to suit you.
Some sessions will feel light; others may ask you to sit with something uncomfortable. That is completely normal, and there is no need to have everything together before you come to me.
My background in nursing, along with my experience of raising three children, means I understand in a very real way how relentless life can feel and how easy it is to put your own wellbeing last.
By the end of our work together, you’ll have a clearer understanding of your own patterns, a set of practical tools that genuinely fit your life and, hopefully, a little more resilience in reserve for whatever comes next.
