Life Coach
Life doesn’t move in a straight line, and most of us reach points where we know something needs to change but can’t quite see the way through on our own.
That’s where life coaching comes in—not as therapy and not as someone telling you what to do, but as a dedicated space to think clearly, be honest with yourself and work out your own way forward.
My approach: values first
You are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to provide all the answers, but to ask thoughtful questions, offer a fresh perspective and help you find the answers that are right for you.
What life coaching can help with
From there, our sessions might explore:
- Understanding your values and priorities
- Setting clear, achievable goals
- Finding and maintaining motivation
- Becoming more assertive at work or at home
- Developing stronger communication skills
- Overcoming imposter syndrome
- Building confidence and self-awareness
- Navigating changes in your personal or professional life
- Supporting ongoing personal growth
The focus is always shaped by where you are now and what you would like to change, develop or understand more clearly.
How life coaching sessions work
Every client’s starting point is different. After a free discovery call to see whether we’re a good fit, we’ll agree on a way of working that suits you.
Some people choose a focused block of sessions built around one particular goal, while others prefer an ongoing space where they can continue developing over time.
Sessions last for one hour and take place online through Zoom or Microsoft Teams, allowing you to fit coaching around your life rather than the other way around.
I’ll gently challenge you when it’s helpful, but you set the pace and you lead. Some of what comes up may be straightforward, while other topics might ask you to explore things that feel more difficult. Both are welcome here—and I don’t mind if there are tears along the way.
Evidence-based coaching grounded in Positive Psychology
My coaching is grounded in Positive Psychology: the evidence-based study of what helps people flourish.
Rather than dwelling only on what isn’t working, we spend meaningful time identifying your strengths and learning how to use them. Change rooted in what is already good about you tends to last far longer than change driven by criticism.
These principles also underpin the structured Positive Psychology programmes I’m trained to deliver, including:
Meaning and Valued Living
Self-Acceptance
Mastering Strengths
Positive Relationships
When a session takes us somewhere specific, there is usually a structured, evidence-based tool behind the work rather than guesswork.
The experience and qualifications behind my coaching
That experience continues to shape how I coach today: with genuine curiosity, patience and respect for your individual circumstances. Clients often describe me as warm, encouraging and easy to be honest with—and I believe that is exactly what effective coaching requires.
By the end of our work together, my hope is that you leave with more than a completed goal. You’ll have a clearer understanding of your values, stronger self-awareness and greater confidence in your ability to navigate whatever comes next on your own terms.
